Dynamic leader and founder of Loraxes.org, driving strategic initiatives to create urban forest-islands. Expert in program and project management, fostering community engagement, and mentoring educators. Successfully established an outdoor classroom and secured funding for innovative programs, enhancing student learning and collaboration. Though not officially from New Mexico, deep family roots and always "known" I'd settle down here. Passionate about trees, their many benefits to wildlife and society, and the need to educate others on the value of trees.
• Wrote a book, The Dominium, on theoretical particle physics in 2008
• Learned to speak Bahasa Indonesia via emersion when I was 18 self-directed and attending Indonesian high-school and then college
• Was the "man-behind-the-curtain" at Boston Latin Academy. Many of the initiatives, logistical changes, etc that were extremely impactful were generated by me, but I gladly allowed my supervisor or the committee take credit
• Grew the Latin Academy debate team from 18 students to 120+. In that time we began an unstoppable force within the League.
• Vigilante gardening of 40+ trees in/around Boston, in addition to 40 or so trees I ultimately had planted on the school grounds
