I am deeply interested in exploring the multifaceted process of language development, particularly the individual differences in language learning and development, as well as effective teaching and learning. Additionally, my research interests extend to first and second language development, with a specific focus on speech perception and processing.

• Developmental Neurolinguistics Lab, 2024-Current, The goal of the Developmental Neurolinguistic Lab is to understand the relationship between language and brain development, and later brain organization. Research projects that are currently in progress use electrophysiological methods to examine brain processes. An understanding of the relationship between language and brain development and later brain organization will help explain the nature of developmental language disorders.
• Computational Linguistics Lab, CUNY Graduate Center, 2023-2024, The lab conducts in-depth analyses of morphological generation systems, identifying challenges in predicting inflected forms of words across languages. This includes the development of a challenge set targeting complex inflectional patterns, designed to benchmark neural network models of inflection and explore morphophonological processes.
• Semantic Typology lab, run by Dr. Juergen Bohnemeyer and graduate students in the Linguistics Department at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, 2022-2023, The Semantic Typology Lab focuses on topics of discussion include projects on eye-tracking studies of motion events, meronymy in Yucatec and Zapotec, the role of linguistic vs. environmental and cultural factors in spatial cognition, and continued research on spatial language and cognition beyond Mesoamerica.
• Cognitive Language Development LAB, Department of English Language Teaching, Middle East Technical University, August 2019-September 2021, The research focuses on how our language ability develops from childhood to adulthood, how children understand, process, and learn the language and how their language ability interacts with their development in other cognitive domains.
