• In charge of the operation of the USNA bagpipe band and Highland Dancers.

• Secure hosts for the programs comprising 25 students and chaperones.
• Hire and train teachers for the programs which included an educational aspect.
• Support the local leaders with any issue of logistics or student needs. This included working with embassy personnel at times.

Chautauqua was a private middle and high school for students with learning needs.
