Since I started in the maritime industry i have wanted to do nothing less than make a name for myself and excel in every position I have been put in. At my first company cooper marine I made a name for myself for being one of the most proficient tow builders and line handlers the company had to offer. Eventually it was time for me to extend my knowledge and move on to the tank barge industry which lead me to Kirby Marine. The first half of time i spent with kirby i learned more about the industry and how to navigate my way to where i wanted to be, a tankerman. I decided that i wanted to take it a step further and go to an offshore company. It wasn't long after that i found out that the offshore division was not for me but while i was there I got qualified as rigger. I came recommended to GoldingBargeLine through a previous captain i worked with. While i was there i moved up quickly and continued to hone the skills i had acquired over the years as well as learn how to paint a boat at the expert level. After consideration on where i wanted to be in my career Kirby Marine was the obvious choice on how to get where wanted to be. Throughout my time at each of the companys I have learned, Exceeded expectations and prevailed through every turn and have never burned a bridge.
