I wanted psychology to be major back in high school when I took a career test to see what was best suited for me and my skills and interests and psychology was what caught my eye. In my senior year in high school in Utica Academy of Science, I took advanced college courses for MVCC to get some extra credits in before I started my first full year at college. After a year and a half at MVCC, I got my associates degree for psychology in December 2022. Afterwards I transferred to SUNY Polytechnic Institute to pursue for my bachelors which I completed recently after 2 years from January 2023 to December 2024. I will be having a graduation ceremony in May of 2025. I look forward to getting my masters degree next so I can fully pursue for my career as a psychologist.
I was employed to be an opener for the store every morning to start off the morning shift until late afternoon. I was responsible for getting food prepared, cleaning the store, baking bread, opening cash register and counting money, making the subs, etc. I mostly did this job for 3-4 days a week for at least 6-7 hours.
