- Performed an initial assessment of newly transplanted patients following transplantation, including vital signs, reviewed medications, addressed pain, and concerns

- Managed virtual calls for all physicians, PAs, and NPs

- Responsible for reviewing records for transferring patients (globally)
- Helped patients obtain documents needed for medication assistance through appropriate programs
- Prescription refills and prior authorizations are completed in a timely manner
- Provided effective communication and translation between Spanish and English for employees, patients, and physicians
- Provided direct patient care, triage, prepared patients for examinations, and explained visit
- Administered flu and pneumonia vaccines according to provider's instructions
- Helped update emergency kits, variance reports, and medication lists so that all nurses are checking them each week
- Establish an emergency exit plan and make sure all staff members are familiar with it
