The sanitation technician position has required me to perform activities to ensure that plant operations meet mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment and facilities. This position has also required me but has not been limited to:

• Ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety, food quality and customer specifications.
• Reduced cross-contamination risks by properly handling chemicals and maintaining designated storage areas.
• Collaborated with team members to complete large-scale cleaning projects within established timeframes.
• Mixed required chemicals according to procedures to form cleaning solutions, completing chemical concentration monitoring as described in procedural manual.
• Conducted regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action as needed.
• Consistently met deadlines for critical cleaning tasks, ensuring minimal downtime for production equipment during changeovers.
• Swept, mopped and sanitized facility.
• Completed in-depth cleaning of machinery to protect consumers from contamination and illness.
• Maintained open communication lines with supervisors and peers, providing updates on progress toward daily goals while addressing any challenges encountered.
• Followed safety standards and established SOPs when handling, mixing and storing hazardous chemicals.
