I maintain safety and security at the assigned program facility. I perform routine safety and security checks on the facility and participants. My responsibilities include investigating any incidents or violations within the facility or involving participants and securing and inventorying all contraband/evidence. I order GPS devices, enroll participants in the database, install the devices, and review daily status reports for curfew compliance and alerts. I investigate alerts for violations and report findings to supervisors. I monitor participants in the community, provide location verification, approve community release passes, and respond to program violations. I notify supervisors of any violations or major incidents, getting authorization for returns to custody. I assist those at risk of re-offending and provide transportation for participants as needed. I verify participant eligibility, work with staff to ensure services are provided, and attend meetings. I participate in counseling sessions and conduct follow-ups on participants who do not meet program expectations. I submitted weekly reports of activities or incidents involving participants, intake, participant’s disciplinary problems. I pre-approve participation in community-related functions outside the contracted program. I notify DRP of any contract violations and assist DRP.

I conduct field supervision in the home or employment setting to build relationships with the family and friends of supervised individuals, improving understanding of their behavior patterns. Collaboration with law enforcement officials to ensure public safety and address parole violations. I submit reports to parole authorities detailing parole condition violations, discharge reviews, and other relevant information. I maintain case records, supervision logs, progress reports, and necessary documents for record-keeping. I investigate alleged parole violations by obtaining police and other reports, interviewing involved parties, evaluating information, and recommending appropriate sanctions. I also handle release or transfer plans and conduct parole compliance searches. I install electronic monitoring equipment on supervised persons as required, provide instructions on managing the equipment, and maintain electronic supervision registration. I outline specific parole conditions and establish inclusion/exclusion parameters for each supervised person, responding to alert notifications. I follow department policies, rules, and procedures and report time accurately and submit timesheets on time.

As a Correctional Peace Officer, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of the public, staff, and inmates by upholding State and Federal laws. This involves overseeing inmate behavior in various settings and monitoring security perimeters. I also document incidents, investigate, and coordinate inmate movements. Additionally, I maintain and monitor firearms, observe facility grounds, and stay alert for any suspicious activities. My tasks include preparing reports, conducting searches, and ensuring cleanliness and order within the facility.
