Eduardo Figueroa

I have over 10 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, starting my career as a detailer and progressing through roles as a prepper, painter, and eventually a body technician. In 2015, I began building professional relationships, which led me to open my shop, Jireh Body Shop.

Unfortunately, in 2017, Hurricane Maria struck, and my shop was destroyed. With the long-lasting effects of the hurricane, including extended power outages, I made the difficult decision to move to Florida to focus on advancing my knowledge of the industry. Since then, I have worked with prominent companies such as Caliber, Gerber, Carstar, and a few local shops. My experience at Carstar also provided me with valuable training in Tesla repairs.

In December 2022, I had the opportunity to join Tesla. During my first six months at Tesla, I concentrated on mastering the company’s guidelines and procedures while adjusting to a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. During this time, I identified a gap in the number of estimators, which ignited my interest in pursuing that role.

I stepped into the position of an estimator, managing vehicle intakes, collaborating closely with adjusters, and simultaneously overseeing vehicle repairs. As I gained more experience, I was promoted to team leader, where I’ve had the privilege of training new team members and contributing to overall shop production.
