  • 1999 to 2001 Texas Highway Patrol State Trooper enforced traffic and criminal law throughout the State of Texas assigned to El Paso County. Assisted with local agencies when needed.
  • 2001 to 2003 Criminal Law Enforcement Trooper Specialized State Interdiction Unit assigned to Narcotics Service: detecting deception, criminal behavior on the highway. Seizing illegal narcotics, currency seizures, and criminal activity ranging from human trafficking, weapons, criminal instrument trafficking. Worked with multi-agency task forces throughout the State of Texas, seizing a high quantity of Marijuana/Cocaine and other illegal narcotics; with the seizures leading to larger investigations which dismantled major drug trafficking organizations.
  • 2004 to 2009 Narcotics Sergeant enforced narcotics and criminal law, serviced search warrants, worked undercover, and interview suspects and arrestees. Worked with multi-agency task forces and analyst throughout the State of Texas. Assigned to Drug Administration Enforcement as a Task Force Officer.
  • 2009 to 2014 Criminal Investigations Division assigned to the major drug unit enforcing the Drug Health and Safety Code, conducted major drug investigations, coordinated and served search warrants, worked with multi-agencies and analyst from local to federal. Affiant in electronic communication interceptions (Wire Tap) which dismantled several drug tracking organizations.
  • 2014 to 2021 Criminal Investigation Division Polygraph Unit, performed criminal polygraphs on investigations for State, local and federal agencies throughout the State of Texas. In English and high volume in Spanish, interviewed and persuaded violators, suspects and defendants to disclose information on their involvement in a crime. Assisted with all criminal investigations ranging from theft, homicides, crimes against children, to include human trafficking of children and sex trafficking. Worked on two national high-profile cases with results that were able to assist investigators locate victims. Also assisted with internal investigations within the department and other law enforcement agencies.
