EDUARDO MENDOZA NIETO

I was part of this project last semester focusing on plastic deformation caused by drill bits. The project was held during spring semester 2024, my function as a member was to help investigate the interactions between different types of drill bits used in different materials. During this project i learned some things that i consider important for my professional life such as:

• Technical expertise not only in the Metallurgical and materials department but also in the mechanical department.
• Analytical Skills by making choices on my own that would be helpful to my team.
• Research and Experimentation by studying deformation material, as well as improving my skills for data collection, statistical analysis, and result interpretation.
• Team Collaboration because i worked with a team to achieve project goals, demonstrating my ability to collaborate or lead effectively in a professional setting even when sometimes we did not share the same opinion.

• Took accurate food and drink orders, using a Point of Sale ordering software system
• Delivered food to tables in a timely manner while ensuring correct food plating and temperatures
• Supervise and support the 12 servers we had on important days (Mothers day, New Year, Valentines Day) to make sure everyone was doing good and customers were happy
• Collaborate with store managers to make sure no customers had any sort of complaints about servers
• Increased the sale of seasonal products by 40% by persuading our customers with the new features of the seasonal product
• Consolidate good work relationships with international people (Korean, Philipino, Cuban, Venezuela, Spain, Jamaica).

• Adapting to work under pressure by getting non-expected orders from the boss needed to be done ASAP
• Assisted in unloading and stocking materials needed for flooring installation
• Measured and cut flooring material to fit specific areas according to the instructions of the lead installer
• Demonstrate time management by always getting the objectives of the week 1 or 2 days before the planned.

• Greeted customers and provided information about products and services
• Maintained a current knowledge of market trends and competitive activities in the sales area
• Increased my sales by 70% in one month by promoting my products on social media
• Expand my market by sending orders out of town.

• 90% of the time solved customer problems and anger by understanding the situation and handling it in a way the customer felt satisfied while following the company rules
• Answered customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Provided assistance to customers regarding account information, billing inquiries, and technical support
• Resolved customer complaints by investigating issues of their orders.
