What i do is receive merchandise from different vendors all over Los Angeles and manage to box them up into as few boxes as possible. In that process I also manage to inspect every item to make sure they get exactly what they ordered. After doing so I weigh the finished product and make labels for them through UPS. My final goal is to then make pallets full of packed orders and deliver them to UPS safely.

From time to time I was able to take phone calls from vendors to keep them updated on their orders.

I filled the position of moving and organizing merchandise that came overseas. After doing so I then had to look for individual and specific pieces to pack and prepare for other companies. Some orders were as much as eight pallets worth and it was also my job to make sure they were wrapped and stable to fit the trucks. This came with lots of heavy lifting and double checking to make sure everything was in good condition.

As a former cook what I did was start the main process for our foods. Their are three different positions on the line and I was the first, therefore I dealt with all the hot foods such as the meat, rice, beans and other ingredients. So I would prepare multiple orders during peak hours and if it got to much I would manage to fill in all three positions by myself to make sure the food got out on time.

What also comes with this task is checking and making sure your food is prepared properly before it gets to the line. So i also had to make sure all our ingredients for the food were in top and ready conditions.

In this line of work I took orders for the drive-thru and was able to get out orders in a reasonable time. What came with this was being able to multi task while still being able to take orders. I had to be quick on my feet at all times because when it reached peak hours that's when they fully needed you to be at your best.

I was the one to scoop ice cream and make various items for customers. With this was being able to handle the cold for our shipment because I had to make sure our ice cream was up to date. I had to also maintain a clean area because ice cream when out of the freezer is very delicate and could melt fast.

Every customer that came in always left happy and satisfied with the service I provided.
