Perform all classes of line work, of any voltage, in the construction. installation. maintenance and operation of overhead transmission and distribution lines, substation, substation equipment. Perform all classes off underground work in the installation, maintenance and operation of non-leaded cable installation.

Install, maintain, rearrange, and remove cables, terminals and other equipment to provide telecommunication service to business and residential customers on Maui, Molokai and Lanai.

Extend telephone service to residential and business customers. Install station equipment and associated lines. Locate trouble, repair, or replace lines. Instruct customers in use of equipment. Perform other related, marginal duties as required.

Responsible for assembling, constructing, installing, repairing and maintaining outside plant facilities and equipment. Perform other related marginal duties as required.

Install, maintain, modifiy and operate wideband communication systems. Configure earth terminal equipment. Establish and maintain communication link with distant earth terminals. Operate earth terminal control console and monitor system performance indicators. Implement operational directives. Supervise wideband communication personnel.
