  • Drafted the NMPED Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment for Central Consolidated School District (CCSD), utilizing district data and analyzing student, community, and workforce needs.
  • Manages Central Consolidated School District's Perkins (Federal) and NexGen (State) grants, utilizing district data for application, and budgeted effectively to ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining financial equity for thriving CTE programs.
  • Coordinates workforce development partnerships with over 20 industry advisors, working directly to develop workforce readiness curriculum that is relevant and culturally informed to effectively prepare our students for careers.
  • Spearheaded the development and completion of the CCSD Graduate Profile, utilizing stakeholder input to guide its development indicating the cultural, social emotional, academic, and career readiness needs of our students.

  • Procured a $100,000 grant with Extending Equity into the Digital Workforce to support our San Juan College dual credit IT certification program, to purchase technology, support academic field trips, pay for certification testing and fund internships for school years 23-24 and 24-25.
  • Leveraged a grant procured by the Three Rivers Education Foundation to utilize our students in the BWTC Construction program and Habitat for Humanity, in October SY 24-25 the first cohort will pay our students up to $1,000 per month for their work.
  • Secured a key partnership with San Juan Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and our Pre Nursing Programs, SJRMC offered all 11 of our Certified Nurse's Assistant candidates, employment post graduation in May of 2024.
