• Provides expert consultation on nursing home objectives; participates in system efforts focused on nursing home initiatives. Developed and provided nursing home admission guidelines to enhance hospital throughput and reduce discharge delays.
• Fosters an environment that encourages the full participation of leaders and employees in providing a resident-centered atmosphere. Led a cultural transformation that increased employee satisfaction scores on the Peakon survey from 6.4 to 7.0, while reducing agency staffing reliance by 34 FTEs.
• Reports regularly to the Board of Directors and to the Board Quality Committee on quality improvement activities, DOH surveys, resident satisfaction results, and operational issues impacting resident care.

Collaborated with admissions staff to develop partnerships with local and statewide hospitals, effectively marketing the specialty ventilator unit, and driving a 50% increase in ventilator patient census.
• Responsible for the oversight and approval of all facility contracts, position requests, and capital requests.
