I've worked in construction since i was 16 in some way or another including the years in the oilfields. I've been working as a sub contractor for quit a few years now. My work however is on the east coast and I am trying to get back towards my home state. I'm a hard worker and have a great amount of knowledge in construction. My work ethics are good and am willing to learn and teach whenever possible.
I do heavy maintenance and remodeling of hotels and motels. Including roofing, concrete, stucco, siding, and paint. Interior projects such as hallway renovations which includes flooring, electrical, drywall, and paint. Interior room renovations such as new drywall, texture, and paint. new electrical including new outlets, lighting, electric stoves, and breakers. Bathroom toilets, new tub and showers, tile work, sinks, countertops, and all plumbing throughout. All new cabinetry, sinks, stoves, microwaves, tile back splashes, and all flooring.
I worked on drilling rigs till the oil crunch when i was laid off. I started out as a floor hand and worked my way to a driller for the last four years. Worked in multiple states on and off shore drilling.
I worked at Keni drilling in 2018 in their safety department for drilling rigs.
the company had two sides construction and environmental side. we mostly did truck wreck clean ups maybe once a week. The construction side consisted of new and old houses. i worked as a painter for Barbra Smith Houses, we did new additions on houses, built a few new houses in the arvin area. Built half a dozon houses in California City where I was involved in every process and all trades of their construction. Including the walk throughs with inspectors.
we started out as house painters and progressed over the years to painting and light remodeling of motels.
