Summary

My name is Ted Rausch. I have been a music teacher and the band director at Portsmouth High School since 1999. My duties have included, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Marching Band. In addition to the performance ensembles I also teach, History of Rock and Roll, Music Production and Engineering - Levels 1, 2, and 3.

I have also taught Guitar, Piano, and AP Music Theory, as I am a certified AP Instructor for AP Music Theory.


In addition to my Portsmouth High School duties, I am also an Adjunct faculty member at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. My teaching duties there include, Woodwind Methods, Instrumental Methods, and assisting in coordinating student teachers.
