Edward Wielage

Cogent Software was a company started by my partner and I after we substantially divested ourselves from a New Horizon Software, Inc. a company we also founded. We have been working as subcontractors for PlanGuru LLC the successor to New Horizon Software, Inc. a company that develops budgeting and planning software for small and medium sized businesses as well accounting professionals providing consulting services to their client. While still involved in Cogent Software our involvement with PlanGuru LLC is very limited.

New Horizon Software, Inc. was founded by my partner and I to develop and market a budgeting and planning software application marketed to the accounting profession as well as small and medium sized businesses.

Cogent Technologies, Inc. was founded by my partner and I to develop and market Workpaper Plus, an automated trial balance and workpaper software for the accounting profession. In 1996 we sold the company to a division of Thompson Reuters.

I went into sole practice specializing in tax work in 1981 after several years of practice regional accounting firms in Northeastern Pa as the manager of the tax department. At the time I was licensed in California and Pennsylvania.
