Summary

Motivated, personable business professional with multiple skill sets. I have worked in the automotive repair field for 29 years. Most of my career I have been in management or an owner operator. I started at age 21 managing a multi-line dealership collision center and was lured away by the opportunity to manage a large multi-line dealership in Columbia sc. I ran Dick Dyer Toyota, Volvo, Mercedes for three productive years before deciding to chase my own dream of being an owner operator of my own collision center. I ran my collision center for eight profitable years growing it from two employees to fourteen, with an addition of a wrecker service. I returned to Vic Bailey in 2008 after seeking to return to the dealership atmosphere. I have studied various management techniques but have found Deming's way to be a sound backbone to any management system. I also possess excellent team building skills and the ability to master technology. I am flexible and versatile and have the ability to manage some of the most intense pressure situations. I have had a wonderful career in the automotive industry, including fabrication, welding, custom work, and insurance related repairs. I have decided to step away from the automotive industry to have a stable and secure work environment. I started at Samsung Innovation engineer and fabricator. My skills as a welder and custom fabricator came alive by solving production line issues. Creating Productive work environment for all the production associates. I became part of a team running our shop of nine employees. Building a team that worked together and setting up a shop from scratch as this business was new to our area. As I moved on to ZF transmission as a production mechanic, I over saw a new night shift crew and organized each shift's schedule to optimize our time during each shift. Repairing each machine assigned to my crew and doing preventive maintenance needed to each machine. Then my former supervisor from Samsung called and asked me to join him with a new company building a new facility here in South Carolina, and their first in the USA. Daeyoung Electronics USA was the name of this company, I oversaw the planning, scheduling, and subcontractors that were building this plant. I sat in on Newberry County planning meetings, every construction project meeting and reported back to Daeyoung management. After the construction was complete, I started planning and drawing for the installation of our machinery. I also installed 10 Mold injection machines, conveyer lines along with programming each piece of machinery and conveyers. Once installed I maintained all the machinery, produced a maintenance plan for the entire building and trained all maintenance employees to service and maintain the equipment at the facility. I am currently working for a company in Houston TX as a project Manager building a facility for Tesla Cyber Truck.
