Project included:

The design and build for facelift elevations of buildings in zone 7 (Souq Waqif area), Al Darweesh Villa

Demolition and Reconstruction of 10 buildings in the Scholar Health Clinic (old Hamad Hospital)

• Developed and implemented an HSE Management System to successfully manage the safety of all site personnel, general public, equipment and environment based on ISO 45001:2018
• Conducted job safety analysis and personal protective equipment analysis to identify hazards for elimination and select proper safety equipment to protect employees from hazards of job.
• Planned, implemented and evaluated safety goals and objectives for entire project
• Successfully reduced workplace incidents by 17%, surpassing the annual goal of 10% by coordinating closely with project personnel to conduct risk assessment, incident investigation, site inspections, preventive maintenance etc to address all project identified risk
• Designed and implemented training programs like tool box talks, safety inductions, third party training based on QCS 2014 requirements, training need analysis, HSE Statistical trends, which resulted in a 40% reduction in safety violations
• Consulted with clients on best practices and served as project manager for all process improvements and regulatory initiatives.

Project: RIW for Junctions & Roundabouts in Various Areas of Greater Doha Phase-7

Project included the widening of roads, transformation of roundabouts into signals, micro - tunneling (35 meters deep) in Industrial Interchange, AL Waab Street, and Wadi Al Banat

Clint: Ashghal/PWA Road Affairs

• Assisted the contractor in developing and improving their OSH MS, programs and practices with all applicable legal, contract/project and international best practice requirements
• Reviewing and approving all project OSH documentations (method statements and risk assessments (RAMS), OSH plan, traffic management/ diversion plans, Emergency Response plan in line with local regulations (QSC 2014, WZTM etc) and international standards
• Reviewing of contractor OSH policy, OHS objectives and other programs, procedures, audit reports, observing statistical illustration/trends to show areas for improvement
• Liaising with project/government officials and general public for all project HSSE related issues such as incident investigation & prevention, impact assessment, traffic management/diversion and project emergencies situations, internal and external auditing resulting to a timely and appropriate corrective action to mitigate the incident

Projects: Construction of Al Wakra and Ain Khalid Health Centers (Package 11 and 12 respectively)

• Conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and safety risks in the workplace and advising on workplace safety by engineering design, system engineering etc

Construction of Workers' Hospital and Integrated Health Center Ras Laffan

• Led, conduct and supervised the recruiting and deploying a team of above 12 safety professionals to advice, direct and monitor all contractors and construction team to comply with all approved SOPs
• Reduced injuries among personnel with development and implementation of robust safety programs and policies.
• Trained employees in most current regulations and practices in effort to prevent mishaps and promote overall safety.
• Monitored workplace activities to determine compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Supporting the safety manager in achieving the project goal of promoting a safe and healthy work environment for employees and minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace

Project: Civil and MEPI Works (Phase 2A) for Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard (Port of Ras Laffan)

• Leading and supervising a team of 10 health and safety professionals providing advice, directions and leadership for project construction without loss of human life and damage to properties
• Conducting regular safety inspections of marine and offshore equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure compliance with marine SOPs
• Developing offshore emergency response plans, conducting drills, spills and emergency rescue from faulty offshore/marine equipment like boats, badges, etc combining office staffs and other disciplines to ensure readiness in the event of an emergency
• Designed engineering solutions when facilities or equipment failed safety inspection, verifying future compliance with appropriate guidelines.

• Increased workplace efficiency by coordination with engineer to identify, troubleshoot, create and develop new /innovative oil and gas programming initiatives for impact assessment, assessment tools, knowledge sharing for better coordination of all day-to-day safety and security activities
• Monitoring workplace and exposure limits of H2S and other hazardous substances, providing advice on exposure limits, PPEs, MSDs, technical reports etc for legal compliance
• Developing and monitoring SOPs for oil and gas extraction, refinery and maintenance: paying attention to confined spaces, fires & explosions, falls, vehicles collisions, struck by/caught in /between, heavy lifting, H2S, etc
