My duty as a contractor delivery driver for GrubHub and DoorDash consist of insuring the food and drink items ordered by the customer is correct and delivered in a timely manner. I also work GrubHubs catering platform which consists of delivering the larger bulk orders and setting up for various businesses. As of October 2017 I have clocked in over 76,000 miles without an incident. Every delivery is made in a professional manner.
I began my career as a Loan Funder which consisted of reviewing the loan documents for approval and preparing documentation to be filed in the companies storage facility. My other job duties consisted of setting up and submitting wire transfers from the financial institution to the title companies, registering loans through the Mortgage Electronic Registration System and providing client service to the title companies with the loan approval status and wire transfer confirmation. Due to my quick turn-around of approving loan documentation for closing, I was moved to a new position within two years as a Final Document Specialist. The job duties for this position consisted of reviewing incoming Title Policies and original recorded Deed of Trusts for errors and/or missing signatures. Once approved, I would submit these documents to the Loan Investors. When an error was found I would contact the title company for correction to the policy and/or Deed of Trust. I would also prepare a Correction/Scrivener Affidavit if the error made on the Deed of Trust was Gardner Financial Services fault and submit the document to be recorded and filed in the appropriate county. I also maintained logs and reports for the loan policies and Deed of Trusts that were outstanding. Due to being the companies only Final Document Specialist, I was able to accomplish bringing the numerous documents that were over 500+ days outstanding to 120 - 180 days outstanding within one year. Within three years at this position, I was given a new job title of Loan Guaranty/Final Doucment Specialist which added the following new duties of paying FHA/VA/USDA Funding Fees, Appraisal Logging, Case Transfers and completing the Insurance Applications to obtain the Mortgage Insurance Certificate/Loan Guaranty Cert./Loan Note Guaranty. Also providing monthly detail reports to the accounting department which reflected the funding and recording fees that were being deducted from the companies bank account. This opportunity allowed myself to focus on time management which was required to handle both job functions. Within one year I was promoted to Team Lead due to the hiring of another individual to assist with the job duties per the growth the company. Due to the additional hiring, I was able to implement the procedure of reviewing and uploading of incoming title policies and Deed of Trusts when reviewed and approved. This resulted in quicker turn-around times forwarding the documentation to the Loan Investors within 90 - 120 days which was a huge accomplishment due to the volume of policies and Deed of Trusts received on a daily basis.
I started with USAA working in the mailroom sorting mail off the conveyor line to distribute to the varies departments. Within one year I began a new position as an Home Equity File Clerk. The job duties consisted of printing Home Equity Loan Documents so they may be sent to the member for signing, alsofiling the returned signed documents. Within two years I started a new position as an Home Equity Loan Processor. The job duties for this position consisted of reviewing income documentation such as paystubs, tax returns, retirement and social security income. I also reviewed bank statements, divorce decrees and varies other documentation required in order to submit the loan forapproval from the Underwriter. Within two years from becoming a Loan Processor I was granted authority to approve Home Equity Loans up to $250,000.00. After four years as an Home Equity Loan Processor and being proficient, I was requested to be moved to the First Mortgage Department to become a First Mortgage Loan Processor due to a loan increase for First Mortgage Loans. From here I learned to process First Mortgage Loans which was similar to processing Home Equity Loans, but due to federal regulations my job duties was to verify all documentation met federal guidelines before submitting to the Underwriter for loan approval. For the eleven years working with USAA I learned what it takes to serve our military by providing excellent member services to the military and their families. I also found other needs the member may require by cross-selling additional bank products, insurance products or financial advice when obtaining a First Mortgage or Home Equity Loan.
