Hey everyone! My name is Edwardo Ortiz (Usually go by eddie to make it easy) and I have a very strong passion for tech and have experience troubleshooting/managing tech spanning over 16 years. Ever since I was a little boy I used to watch my Grandpa fix, build and rebuild the old gateway pcs and ever since then I fell in love.   • I was a network engineer/tech
  • I managed Fortinet routers, and entire network topologies from the ISP gateways up to the routers that connect to the clients
  • Configuring and running scripts, creating network policies, assigning static routes, managing NIC'S, communicating with ISP'S to make sure static info is correct and up to date, all manners of troubleshooting from managing outages to guiding customers through physical Lan and wan connections
  • Upholding a superior standard of customer service for all my interactions(making sure to use correct tone and smile on calls), and always making sure to use short and simple easy to understand verbiage so I can communicate effectively and efficiently
  • I also used service now, which is creating and managing the tickets that come in and or need to be created

  • But I was not only tasked with networking, I was also tasked with troubleshooting phone systems as well
  • This is all troubleshooting for peoples businesses, so I was able to talk to all different type of people and have interesting and engaging convos on a daily basis! All my customer service experience transfers over which definitely helped my interactions go a lot more smoothly and all my experience also helped me to be a top ticket closer as well

  • I also was tasked with meeting high quotas resulting in high commission but accompanied with managing high stress levels
  • I also had to sell through dangers such as threats to my life, weather conditions, being chased by dogs, and much more, All while retaining a top level of customer service
  • Also was tasked with managing a team and training them and making sure the performed well
  • Overall a high pressure sales job which helped mold me into the salesman I am today

My desktop PC consists of a liquid cooled CPU and GPU. Cpu being a ryzen 5 5800x and the GPU is a AMD 6900xt. This can handle any workload you throw at it!
