  • HCC Manager I am responsible for all regional hub operations at DCA
  • Resolve any conflicts that may prevent a flight’s on time departure

  • Develop, communicate, and implement the station’s recovery plan after irregular operations

  • Lead a team of four HCC regional turn coordinators

During my time as a control center manager, I was involved in many different operational and efficiency projects alongside the HCC department head for Piedmont Airlines

  • Those projects and responsibilities included:
  • “Aerobahn” surface radar user group development team
  • Right now view “RNV” regional launch team
  • Station flight schedule analyst, and weekly flight schedule gate plotting
  • Develop and train all HCC agents and managers on summer irregular operations, and department of transportation (DOT) long tarmac delay (LTD) regulations and prevention responsibilities
  • Conduct full and thorough investigations for any DOT long tarmac violations
  • Review and finalize all delay code challenges from station work groups and business partners
  • Analyze and communicate weather forecast prior to major snow or rain events
  • Train new HCC managers
  • Oversee HCC in absence of HCC department head

  • As an Airport Operations Supervisor (Non-Union) I was a part of the senior leadership team for United Airlines at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
  • During my shift I managed approximately 60 employees, from both Customer Service and Ramp Operations
  • My primary role was to ensure a safe and dependable operation, and resolve real time operational irregularities, with safety and customer focused decision-making
  • I was also primarily responsible for the operations department and flight scheduling
  • As a supervisor I had many other “back office” and “HR” job duties
