Oversee all operations within my department. Responsible for ensuring that safety, quality, delivery and production efficiencies meet the standards and expectation of internal and external customers. Promoting a productive & positive work environment for employees.

Responsible for monitoring up to 1,000 Ton Automatic presses ensuring quality stampings are produced per company's quality standards, production orders and engineering specifications.

Duties included:

• Tooling setups, troubleshooting, etc
• Operation of computer systems to input production
• Label placement
• Loading coils
• Keeping track of scrap
• Packing parts

Facilitate the work activities of the department and ensure that work activities are being performed according to policy, procedure and process.
Leading by example ensured that safety, quality and productivity requirements are being achieved.

Some of the tasks assigned:

• Directing personnel based on production needs
• Keep track of quality & safety
• Scheduling union personnel based on production needs
• Assist operators during the press job changeover operations
• Assist operators troubleshooting the automatic and transfer presses
• Help train new operators
• Provide feedback for continual improvement process
• Assist with the handling inventory and placing it in the proper area

Production Operator

• Load, unload, inspect, and pack parts in assembly weld cells following customer approved specifications.

Stamping Press Operator

• Responsible for monitoring up to 1,000 Ton Automatic presses ensuring quality stampings are produced per company's quality standards, production orders and engineering specifications.

Worked on giving preventive maintenance and preparation tasks to powder coating booths, wet spray booths, clean rooms, phosphate conversion coating system, sludge removal system, parts carriers, powder coating ovens, filtration system, etc.

Performed regular and deep cleaning of multiple bathrooms, cleaning hand wash stations, refilling dispensers, keeping work areas free of trash, maintaining halls and floors free of slip and trip hazards, vacuuming, and removing of waste materials, among other tasks.
