Hours: 0700-1630/40 Hours a week

• Develops and manages document tracking procedures and data gathering processes
• Receives, processes, and inspects all inbound cargo shipments, ensuring correct part numbers or NSN (National Stock Number), correct quantities, condition, and destination
• Directs employees in accomplishing responsibilities related to freight consolidation, freight terminal operations, freight transportation, and material movement activities
• Handles and certifies hazardous cargo in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Traffic Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code and Code of Federal Regulations 49 (CFR 49) for required surface/air shipments
• Supervises a team of eight employees for the 166th AW distribution section
• Schedules all pickups and deliveries with third party carriers according to priority and classification
• Process all outbound cargo shipments for worldwide distribution via all modes of transportation to include commercial air, ground, and military movement using CMOS (Cargo Movement Operations Systems)
• Investigates, coordinates action, and resolves problems and discrepancies within the distribution section
• Freight manager and approver for all freight charges using U.S bank system (SYNCADA)
• Responsible for the preparation of Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDR)
• Monitors and directs handling, packaging, and shipping of firearms, explosives, and electrostatic sensitive discharge (ESD) items
• Balances workloads and assigned specific tasks to team members in order to accomplish objectives
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date log sheets to purchase order numbers, shipper names, and bill of ladings
• Developed and managed document tracking procedures and data gathering processes
• Performed continuous evaluations of labor hours and expenses to maintain budget controls

• Received, processed, and inspected all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring correct destination using both Cargo Movement Operations Systems (CMOS) and Integrated Logistics System-Supply(ILS-S)
• Prepared all shipments and documentation to include commercial bill of ladings and route orders
• In checked, stored and prepared inbound and outbound shipments including all hazardous, arms, ammunitions, explosives, classified and sensitive shipments
• Scheduled all pickups and deliveries with third party carriers according to priority and classification
• Prepared and packed all shipments for worldwide distribution via all modes of transportation to include commercial air, ground, and military movement
• Determined blocking, bracing and tie down principles when handling freight such as aircraft engine
• Investigated, coordinated action and resolved problems and discrepancies within the distribution section
• Consolidated shipments when possible to reduce overall shipping cost
• Operated and maintained material handling equipment, such as forklifts (4k and 10k certified), pallet jack, and hand-trucks
• Responsible for quality check of all government merchandise purchased
