The Technology Student Association state competitions for engineering opened my eyes to the vast opportunities that can arrive at my doorstep if I persevere. State competition gave me the chance to show what I could do, my first year going to state being sophomore year earning third place for my projects division, then the next year getting second and third place in the same division and second place for another division. Even though I have been able to get second place and third place within the Technology Student Association state competitions, I still strive for first place, learning and growing, creating the opportunity for my future self to get farther ahead in the engineering world than many who don't have such a drive. The Technology Student Association not only allowed me to better myself as an engineering student, it also opened new and exciting opportunities that are still affecting me today.

• I have a unbridled interest in writing, being that I am constructing a novel at the moment and am about to release a poetry book. This interest is great for company culture because of how I can bring new interesting ideas to fruition and express more apt words for a project, words that would allow for the signing of certain projects to go through with the company.
