Jail Officer with experience at Floyd County Sheriff's Office as well as having experience working many other miscellaneous jobs in my teenage years. Working at Floyd County Sheriff's Officer as well as other jobs before then has taught me many skills that I've carried with throughout the years. These last few years working as a Jail Officer has taught me many lessons and skills that I have not only learned, but wish to hone in and improve upon. These skills and lessons being physical fitness, defensive tactics, understanding and empathizing with others and their struggles, mental health awareness, and enforcing rules and regulations while also finding solutions to certain conflicts. I hope to keep using what I have learned and be able to transfer my knowledge and skills to a different field where I can learn how to improve upon them but also use them more effectively.
Basic Jail Officer Certification
In my free time I like to keep myself active I enjoy going to the gym as well as taking classes on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu If I have an entire day to myself then I like to go hiking and enjoy the outdoors Whenever I'm inside before the day has started or after it has ended, then I like to read informative books that help sharpen my mind and to learn more about the world around me I also like to unwind by playing video games on my computer that I built I generally enjoy keeping myself busy and always finding new hobbies and interests to occupy my time I consider myself decently introverted so I've learned to enjoy my own company and like to go and do things on my own terms and schedule My hopes is to get more into volunteering work to give back to the community that I grew up in
