• Planning, organizing, directing unit and managing all personnel and activities related to Track Maintenance & Construction projects
• Oversee subordinates and perform duties that may include developing cost estimates and coordinating General Orders
• Perform and oversee necessary mandated inspections and maintenance repair activities to ensure safe and reliable Transit Operations
• Oversee & assist subordinates with general order submissions, track access issues, work train request, material needs and forecast
• Process procurement orders from various vendors or specialized track equipment through MTA Business Service Center
• Coordinate efforts with outside groups relative to project upcoming needs such as Con Edison, DOT, Community affairs groups as well as other contractors working within project limits

• Oversee supervision on major Track Construction renewal projects
• Maintain database of yearly upcoming projects and completion progress
• Maintain database of upcoming project diversions, piggyback requests and follow status until project start and end dates
• Maintain employee availability database as well as schedule employee overtime
• Process procurement orders from various vendors or specialized track equipment needs through MTA Business Service Center
• Assisted in the reintroduction of Loram Rail Grinding operations on MTA right of way for rail defect corrections in April 2014

• Prepare Track Construction yearly programs, inclusive of defining work limits, calendar schedule, work production estimates and diversion types
• Create, edit and maintain database and calendars for yearly Track Construction program, CWR program and review CPM work for piggybacking opportunities as well as tracking general order utilization
• Prepare, enter, review and follow up on diversion and project requests from all MOW departments requiring track access to determine fiscal and operational impacts
• Assist in preparation of Bi- Monthly Look Ahead meetings and record information and suggestions
• Schedule Track Construction yard work, meet with yard personnel and project managers to discuss impact to yard movements to streamline track access needs
• Communicate with various departments to identify, schedule and discuss track access needs, encourage scheduling of consolidated work to minimize service impacts and personnel costs.

Supervise the installation of new track components in a safe and productive manner.
Respond to emergencies and supervise the application of temporary remedies while providing minimal impact to passenger service.
