I am actively involved in my community, especially from an academic enrichment standpoint. While I have worked as both a paid and volunteer tutor, I also work alongside the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Since 2015 I have been a mentor and judge for the Future City Tournament. Likewise, I write and develop test materials for the regional Science Olympiad competition where 45+ teams compete. While in college I volunteered at a day school to help children with academic challenges to be on par academically with students of similar ages. I also host a monthly meeting for youth to build confidence and character in youth.
