As I finished five-year term at the Israeli Consulate, I am beginning to pursue the next chapter.
I have been appointed as a Vice-Consul at the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles; the highest title one could achieve without becoming a diplomat.
As I proved myself over the years through my motivation and determination towards success, I am ready to peruse the next chapter.
The remainder of this letter outlines the experience and unique skill set that I will apply and utilize in my next endeavor.
I first arrived in the USA in 2007 after completing a full service at the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat soldier, during my service I was awarded two honors for exemplary behavior. After graduating with a B.A in Business and Marketing, I decided to pursue a position at the Israeli Consulate In Los Angeles and within 6 months, I was promoted to be a Vice-Consul (which is unprecedented).
As Vice-Consul, I oversaw a team of about (10) ten colleagues and conducted training for incoming employees, conducting visa interviews and worked closely with law enforcements, federal and local agencies and donors.
This role developed my communication, management and problem-solving skills, and in often times I had to create my own solutions by thinking outside of the box. I can confidentially say that I can effectively work under some of the most pressured conditions out there.
I enjoy people's company and can be intriguing and exciting for others due to my knowledge in different fields such as communication techniques, fitness, history, technology, and even Magic.
My most valuable tool is my interpersonal skills, which has allowed me to build and cultivate relationships and create a unique network over the years.
These days, I'm not compromising for just a job, but I want to put myself in a position that will create long-lasting relationship in an environment that challenges me daily and allows me to succeed and strive.
My addiction to learning new skills and improving myself is what makes one a versatile candidate for many positions.
