• Developed a successful emergency Family Shelter, including writing the initial funding grant, hiring and training staff, procuring and managing support services to maintain and furnish three buildings and the associated grounds, as well as maintaining a safe day to day environment for the 15 families served.
• Incorporated personal past lived experience to successfully create a low barrier environment.
• Developed and maintained positive relationships with associated town services, specifically the Burrillville Police Department, Fire Department and the staff at the Zambrano Hospital.
• Assisted clients in navigating the RI Homeless system to access both mainstream resources as well as federal vouchers such as Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing.

- Managed day-to-day operations of the DCYF funded Family Community Care Partnership, a program providing wraparound facilitation to families to assist them in becoming self sufficient so as to prevent any need for child welfare services.

- Managed 8 to 10 staff including payroll, hiring, disciplinary and day to day issues.

- Ensured family crisis were appropriately responded to following mandated reporting laws.

- Coordinated with licensed clinicians to ensure medicaid eligibility and requirements were met. was

- Assisted in setting policy for RI's Continuum of Care to ensure those most in need receive prioritized resources in compliance with HUD recommendations.

- Specialized in helping families navigate the difficulties of homelessness in Rhode Island while ensuring their children remain safe.

- Helped development and manage an emergency DCYF funded hotel shelter program.
