  • Monitor on-site construction progress and report any discrepancies to ensure that design specifications and safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with the design team to address any changes that occurred during the construction process due to site conditions and choose the optimal solutions based on performance requirements.
  • Participated in formal internal design reviews and helped prepare a response to a subcontractor’s request for information (RFI).
  • Collect field data and create marked-up plans (also known as redline drawings) for the design team to use when compiling the official as-built drawings.
  • Prepare and review monthly work progress reports prior to authorizing payments to subcontractors.
  • Analyze sampling data, laboratory test results, and in situ field testing reports to assess soil characteristics and ground conditions and evaluate subgrade strength for pavement construction. Coordinate with subcontractors to make engineering judgments for subgrade improvements that meet industry standards.
  • Completed training and received certification as a “Level IA Certified Personnel (Blue Card)” for incorporating National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) practices into construction activities and preventing water pollution.
  • Maintain compliance with Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) on-site stormwater system regulations and Best Management Practices (BMP) for the construction phase of the project.
  • Prepare and review daily construction reports to effectively manage subcontractors, foster collaboration, and meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to the client through detailed daily and/or weekly reports on the progress, schedule, and goals of the work.
