  • Respond to all Rapid Response Calls and Code Strokes throughout the hospital and intervene per protocol.
  • Respond to all Code Blues and perform competent life-saving measures using ACLS.
  • Round on medical floors to assist in higher acuity patients that are not commonly cared for by their RNs.

  • Anticipate potential admissions from ED that will likely be admitted to ICU and coordinate beds, available staff, and transportation of the critically ill.
