- Had the opportunity to shadow an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient pediatric setting.

- Through this, was able to observe various therapy sessions with clients/children and gained insight into the diverse therapeutic approaches.

- Observed how the Occupational Therapists guided the therapy sessions for the specific needs of each child and the different strategies to enhance motor skills, daily functioning, etc.

- Had the opportunity to babysit children from various families ranging from infants to elementary school children.

- Assisted with daily routines like bed time, meals, and age-appropriate activities and games.

- Taught basic tennis skills (ex: serving, rallying, backhand, forehand) to young players ages 6-11

- Helped facilitate practices by running drills and games, while encouraging good sportsmanship and teamwork.

- At the end of practices helped clean up and put the cart of balls away as well as pick up any objects used on the courts (ex: dots and cones) back in there place.
