Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet with the potential clients to qualify and interpret their wants/needs.
· Measure the job and take photos.
· Design and prepare for meeting with potential client.
· Prepare bid and present to potential client.
· Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales
· Prepare detailed drawings/notes/specs for the CAD department
· Positive communication between operations team and client
· Work with deadlines and achieve or exceed sales goals
· Assist client with material selections
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Possess strong active listening skills, to ensure all designs meet clients' expectations, budget, and overall design requirements.
· General understanding of building codes for their area, computer-aided drafting experience, possess a keen eye for detail, and be up to date on current kitchen and bathroom design trends.
· Ability to read and interpret blue prints, CAD drawings, and specification sheets.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail and accuracy
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Showroom Support
- Provide support as needed for Designers (retrieving necessary quotes and procuring materials for projects)
- Support Designers as needed with project design ideas and material selection
- Additional administrative tasks as needed (sending project documents to client and helping clean up files to be ready for CAD)
- Ensure displays and marketing/design materials are maintained in Showroom
- Help with upkeep of showroom (water supplies, coffee station, bathrooms, and cleaning services)
- Support Showroom Manager with organization and presentation of materials displayed within showroom
- Act as a point of contact with Showroom Manager with influx of incoming and current vendors, also help distribute any new product information and pricing associated to the team
- Assist in bringing new concepts and materials into the showroom
o Consisting of - collaborating and creating new concept boards, updating towers and vignettes, and bringing in loose materials
- Assist in coming up with new product assemblies
- Assist Showroom Manager with idea for (bi-monthly) product knowledge meetings
- Accompany Showroom Manager at Vendor Showrooms as needed
- Assist with material help with warranty issues
