I need to be a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide the level of care I want to provide. The scope of practice that a CNM provides will allow me to care for women, in all stages of life as well as their families when coupled with my FNP certification. To educate them, surround them with calmness and comfort, and advocate for them to enjoy a special birth experience... this post graduate certificate and program will enable me to have the knowledge and skills to provide that and offer all the resources a Certified Nurse Midwife has access to.
