I am an Information Technology Technician with over seven years of experience supporting the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, where I manage digital evidence, provide technical support for prosecutors and investigators, and maintain mission-critical IT systems. My work includes recovering data from a wide range of digital media, preparing and organizing digital discovery for court, re-encoding and redacting video evidence, and ensuring all materials are handled in full accordance with chain-of-custody standards.

In addition to my forensic-adjacent responsibilities, I deploy and image workstations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support the office’s network infrastructure through basic LAN diagnostics, cabling, and field troubleshooting. I frequently assist with surveillance media extraction, formatting, and preparation for trial use, ensuring all digital evidence is accessible, organized, and secure.

My background combines technical troubleshooting, digital forensics fundamentals, and hands-on support in a law-enforcement environment. I am bilingual, detail-oriented, and trusted with highly sensitive materials, and I am now seeking to transition into a dedicated Digital Forensic Analyst role where I can expand my expertise in mobile device analysis, evidence processing, and investigation support.
