• Advanced Clinician- assumed resource and teaching role to educate department on latest EBP and new practices, organized and conducted annual competencies and training, involved in improvement committees, applied expertise and leadership to achieve outcomes
• Charge Nurse- coordinated nursing care for unit through staff assignments, assisting and rounding with physicians, monitoring patients orders and stability, and communicated with all ancillary departments for ER consisting of 52 treatment rooms serving 70,000 patients annually
• ER Stroke Committee- Met biweekly with Sharp Stroke Coordinator, ERMD's, ER Supervisor and Leads to improve stroke code process, audit charts, educate staff, and maintain JCAHO Primary Stroke Center accreditation
• Mentor & Mentee Unit Coordinator- Facilitate program within ER to aide in transitioning New graduates/New hires within department by connecting them to mentors, aided in creating professional development opportunities for staff
• Preceptor- trained and educated multiple New Graduates, New Hires, and Transitional nurses, served as resource and mentor
