  • Providing direct patient care, inserting IV catheters, accessing infusaports, drawing blood, administering chemotherapy and other infusions.
  • Providing patients and families with support and education regarding their disease process, condition and treatment, palliative care and improving the patients’ quality of life. Act as a patient advocate as well as liaison between patients and physicians.
  • Providing direct patient care including excellent assessment skills in an emergency setting, administration of blood products and other prescribed treatments in the adult, pediatric, triage, fast track and trauma room.
  • Provide wound care, trach, vent, chest tube and colostomy care. Glucose and cardiac monitoring. IV and foley catheter insertion.
