Drafting skills

I've been writing press releases, brochures, newsletters, articles, audio-visual materials during my 10-year advertising career for many clients in my capacity as a PR Manager. I've also experience in writing project proposals for EU-funded projects. I gained great experience in drafting press materials and other public documents at the MFA of North Macedonia, where I was serving as a Spokesperson and Head of Communication. The position required drafting press releases, speeches, and statements on a daily basis as well as working on policy papers. I build upon this experience at the office of the Deputy PM for European Affairs where I also served as a Spokesperson and Head of Communications, being in charge of all the communication both internally and externally. This included reports, addresses, op-eds, press releases. At the office of the President, where I currently work, I'm responsible for the press releases, SM content, media inquiries.

Media engagement

My experience in engaging with the media also covers both, the private and the public sector. As a PR manager for the agency's clients, I was in regular contact with the journalists for the briefings, media campaigns, big-scale events and conferences relevant to the brand, product or national campaign. My main task as a PR & Event Manager at the EU Delegation was moderating more than 200 press conferences, round tables, debates and events. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat for European Affairs, as a Spokesperson I have worked with journalists quotidianly, giving them TV/written/phone statements, being their focal point for the issues related both to the Ministry/Government and Minister/Deputy PM. Currently, I am the main contact point for the foreign media at the office of the President, briefing them on a regular basis. I provide information also for the Macedonian media.

Intl relations knowledge

As a Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I was closely involved in the negotiations talks that led to the signing of the Prespa Agreement and subsequently to the accession of North Macedonia to NATO. I was also preparing talking points and press materials for the FM at the NAC meetings in Brussels. At the Government, as a spokesperson for the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Nikola Dimitrov, I regularly attended meetings with EU officials. At the office of the President, I cover the national security issues as well, as a member of the team in charge of the Security Council preparations.

Social media experience

I am a user of social media since its inception, having my own blog and using the first networking platform for private purposes. That was very useful for my professional career later on, creating and managing the SM accounts for many clients, brands, programs, ministers and the President. I am also familiar with the engagement data analysis as well as with the necessary social media tools. Our team at the MFA in 2020 received the best public diplomacy award by the Digital Diplomacy regional blog. I have a Digital Diplomacy course certificate from the Centre for European Perspective (CEP).
