Summary

I am forty-three yr old Hispanic male who’s been in the freight industry for over 18yrs. I speak fluent English and Spanish. I’ve held many titles in my career , such as being one of the youngest terminal managers in SMT ( southwestern motor transport) history. I managed drivers 20 yrs my senior . Earning there respect by being a leader of fairness and of hard work. I started just as a driver at SMT and in time was promoted to inbound dock supervisor. This role had many expectations with it. I learned many of my freight experience through this company. Which I used later on in my life to be able to be moved up in other companies that I work for. One of the experience I picked up was being able to communicate with customers on a professional basis. My ultimate goal was eventually becoming a Sales Rep for Smt or for another company. I strive in moving up and taking on challenges, no matter how hard they seem. I am also planning on registering soon for some college courses in the logistics department. I plan to get a degree in logistics to be able to show a degree with the knowledge that I have accumulated in my years in the freight business. Hardworking employee enthusiastic about learning Type field inside and out. Pursues opportunities to learn new skills and contribute to group success. Offers strong administrative, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
