As an Aquatics Specialist, my responsibilities include:

- Lifeguarding as well as teaching swim lessons

- Scheduling of lifeguards

- Supervising lifeguard rotation and duties

- Coordinating, planning, and evaluating lifeguard in-service training.

- Coordinating and teaching lifeguard/CPR classes

- Facilitating new staff orientation and lifeguard development "shadow" training.

- Providing customer service and conflict resolution in a friendly and professional manner.

- Directing and performing general pool maintenance and cleaning duties, including chemical testing, balancing, and monitoring the pump room area.

As a Lifeguard, my responsibilities included:

- Observing and patrolling Aquatic areas.

- Enforcing safety regulations in a professional, friendly manner.

- Maintaining proper water safety discipline.

- Performing general pool maintenance.

- Providing general customer service and First Aid.

As a Guest Services Representative, my responsibilities included: - Responding to phone calls

- Greeting and checking in members

- Answering any member questions/concerns

- Processing sales of passes/memberships

As a Camp Counselor, my responsibilities included:

- Being a fun, responsible, caring, empathetic, trustworthy, hardworking team-player

- Teaching or leading one of the camp activities (generally specializing in one area)

- Guiding groups of boys participating in all aspects of camp life - Living with and supervising groups of boys in their cabins/dormitories

- Dining with and supervising groups of boys at mealtimes

- Supervising and assisting during cabin/dormitory chores

- Leading day hikes and overnight backpacking trips

- Fully participating in camp life when not leading an activity/industry

- Embracing the all-encompassing and awesome role & responsibility of being a camp counselor for the summer

Along with my primary duties as a camp counselor, I also taught swim lessons to the campers on a daily basis helping them become stronger swimmers. On top of that, I also lifeguarded the lake during the camp's daily swim.
