- My duties as a property engineer were to maintain property as best as possible. Every morning gather daily readings from chillers, generators, water pumps, pool levels, and property water levels.
- Switch out broken belts from a/c motor as well as adjust them, switch out filter.
- Fix all lights around property if that meant replacing them or switching out bad balances
- Fixing broken pvc pipes having to dig out underground
- Sending reports to chief working a lot with PowerPoint, excel, word
- Talking with multiple contractors and reviewing quotes with best interest
- Also worked at multi-family getting apartments ready for moving's, as well as doing work orders, fixing lights, broken curtains, replacing garbage disposal. Doing make ready which was walking through apartments that recently moved out making a list of things that need a touch up or replacing once I had my list ready I would go back and start checking off all the things I completed and make sure even to the smallest of detail everything is perfect for the next tenant
- Also checking a/c units levels are good if need I would recharge them so tenants wouldn't have an issue in the future.
- Also replaced boilers if that meant switching the elements and making sure it was working for tenant
- I was left in charge for 3 weeks maintaining property at good standards managing the team on site making sure work orders were being done as well as getting make ready done, ordering parts to fix or replace items, making sure in meeting deadlines, and reporting to the property manager and chief
