Seeking a fulfilling position as a Clinical Psychologist or Social Worker where I may succeed in providing proper care in trauma counseling for at-risk youth to help provide the necessary care to influence patient's needs, with the intentions of contributing to the well-being of patients while continuing to expand my knowledge in the field of psychology.

Coursework has provided me extensive and comprehensive understand of human behavior, development, mental health as well offered insights on how individuals may grow and how they many function or cope in their environments. These courses have equipped me to promote a better understanding and a potential to enhance psychological well being and a healthy development in others

• 2016 - 2020, Urban Teacher Academy Program, Child Supervision and Care, provided supervision and care to children during educational activities, facilitated math and English lessons for kindergartners to middle school by ensuring a supporting learning environment, tailored to lesson plans
• 2016 - 2020, Mentorship, Offered guidance and support to younger individuals in high school including a range of topics from academics, life choices, and other activities, helped navigate mentee's challenges by attempting to inform them on decisions.

• Currently, I am an undergraduate student who attends Florida International University and will be graduating in December of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am interested in working as a Behavior Specialist as I continue my journey toward my master’s degree in clinical psychology. Working with children has been a specialty of mine even as a High School student as I had the ability to work with children. The ability to work with children would be desirable as I have enjoyed the experiences I’ve had while working with them and would further expand my experiences to begin clinical work with adolescents and adults. Being able to have access to a program named Urban Teaching Academy Program has helped enable me to be consistent and motivated me to help assist children. The program has helped me gain knowledge on lesson plans that helped assist in engaging the needs of the different students. With the specific lesson plans that I have provided, it was beneficial to work with kids who struggled with reading or had a difficult time beginning the assignment by aiding in their way of learning. Few of the students enjoyed more hands-on activities such as paper cutouts which helped with visual aid and helped break down complex concepts into making them easier to understand. Having access to mentoring younger students has enabled me to show more leadership by guiding and assisting younger classmates and has taught me adaptability as different students have different learning styles.
