Versatile and achievement-oriented Welder/Fabricator excelling in welding, fabrication, and machine operation. Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing environments.
As a welder and fabricator, I am responsible for the production of made-to-order structures, as well as the modification of shipping containers to order. This requires me to cut and prepare materials for both structures before welding and fabricating these structures and any components to be installed. This includes reading and comprehension of blueprints.
As a robotic welder, I would manufacture high-pressure vessels, used primarily for aerospace and flight applications.
As a welder and robot operator, I would inspect welds and fix weld defects on Amazon pod racks. After four months, I was trained and promoted to Team Lead based on my high production rate, my low defect rate, and my ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems with the robots. After becoming Team Lead, my responsibilities included checking dimensions on pods, as well as communicating with quality control and maintenance pertaining to any issues, and in the meantime, doing anything necessary to keep the robots and operators at full production.
As a sales associate, it was my responsibility to assist and cash out customers, as well as maintain knowledge of pool chemicals and water chemistry. I would often read water chemistry tests to help customers maintain their pH, alkalinity, chlorine levels, etc. In my downtime, I would stock the store shelves, front and face, and clean.
As a pool service technician and general laborer, I accompanied a small team to clean, repair, and close pools for the end of the pool season. When the season came to an end, we then took to moving items from the old storefront to be stored.
As a laborer (also known as a decorator), my responsibilities included removing defects and machine lines by grinding, filling, washing, and tumbling aluminum bow risers. This would prepare them for color fusion and powder coating. I would sometimes work with smaller parts, and occasionally sandblasting. For my last month or so of employment, I produced medical-grade face shields.
As a laborer, my responsibilities included using various machines to manufacture HVAC components. I was also responsible for packing, wrapping, and prepping the components for delivery to the warehouse.
