- Dynamic Wheel Group is the parent company of a multitude of aftermarket wheel brands and has been in business since 2000
- Many of the processes and strategies were unchanged and expectations were not clearly communicated
- The courses of action taken over the last 3 years were the following: 1
- Come into the business with a spirit of learner ship to understand coworker and manager dynamics. 2
- Be curious about all aspects of the business to a point of baseline understanding. 3
- Leave room for the subject matter experts to take more ownership over their work and departments. 4
- Identify needs of the business by asking long standing employees to share truthfully of their experience as well as explain their process flows. 5
- Restructure departments if possible and if not possible hire key individuals to add needed support to top employees. 6
- Identify the benefit of system changes and if agreed upon create a project plan for implementation.
- A specific example of this is the full restructure of the marketing team after 1 year of me being hired on
- I was new to the auto industry but relied on our sales staff and management to guide me in the right direction with resources and wisdom
- Our team at the time operated with minimal transparency and was not trusted by our sales staff or our management which led to inefficient marketing campaigns
- With the restructure we brought in team members who were passionate about the Automotive Industry and were willing to be honest about the metrics and time it would take to turn things around.
- While this addressed the initial issued of the marketing department we had not addressed other issues stemming from poor interdepartmental communication
- A series of processes were implemented and changed to ensure that the marketing team was receiving inputs from sales data, current inventory metrics, future production and new product pipelines
- Results are closely monitored and improved upon routinely

- I was in charge of the master data files for our Coupa Procurement Software that connected our corporate goods and services catalog to all of our World Vision International offices around the world.
- The Global Procurement Office’s role was to negotiate global and regional contracts on behalf of the regional World Vision offices to leverage buying power.
- Our team was built up of Senior level buyers who were in charge of different goods and services segments as well as regions
- Our catalog was highly complex with visibility and pricing being broken down by country and region.
- Furthermore, I was tasked with being a “Super User” of our Coupa Software and held one on one training sessions with WVI staff based in Monrovia
- This forced me to learn a new database and business system rather quickly and enabled me to learn the basics of the logical or sometimes illogical nature of their design.

- Over the last five years we have raised over $225,000 for charity:water, a clean water charity based out of New York, New York by cycling from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean.
- I was one of 12 members of the Ride For Water team this year and had the opportunity to train as one of 8 cyclists
- Every year Ride For Water is passed on to a new team that is responsible for finances, events, social media and ultimately coordinating the ride across the country.
