Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor
01.2021 - Current

Job overview

I use a Relational Model to Address the underlining causes of addiction. I work with students who violation the School Districts Anti Drug policy and they are required to receive 6 hours of Psycho-education around Drugs and Alcohol abuse and the Teen Brain.

I have worked with students from Seven High Schools and 2 Alternative ones as well. Seven Middle Schools, and 3 K-8's, and one thing all these schools have in common every student no matter what is their back story they all suffer from Intergenerational Trauma and it needs to be addressed.

My Model addresses that.

Community Healing Initiative

Youth Development Coach
10.2017 - 01.2021

Job overview

At the time I took the position, I was leaving Traditional Thinking completely. The opportunity was to build a Gang Prevention Program.

I had worked with Juveniles with Criminal, Addictive behaviors. I wanted to work with Middle School Students, "before they get Tainted, Corrupted,"

I told that first group of MS students, "I didn't want to do gang prevention, I didn't want to prevent something but to build and grow something, what do want to call yourselves.?"

We built an Relational Model designed to address intergenerational Trauma. I have been using this model ever since.
