I managed a welding department for Pipe welders. This would consist of setting up stalls, writing procedures, coaching, qc over their work, and reading blue prints. I worked in this position for a few years as I managed I would also get into the stall and weld if needed. I was able to get my SW-1, SW-2 and SW-5 certifications. I was also moved around at Pesco to start up a new department working on a water purification unit. I managed a crew to build this unit shortly before leaving pesco. This also consisted of setting up stalls reviewing and revising prints and setting up new processes and procedures.
