*Prepare residents for meals (wash hands and face, position at table, place clothing protectors, etc.)

*Assist resident with identifying food arrangements and ordering meals

*Serve food trays and assist with feeding as indicated (i.e., feeding, cueing, etc.)

*Transport residents to/from Activities including social programs (i.e., church, parties, etc.)

*Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as instructed by supervisors

*Follow work assignments and/or work schedules in completing and performing assigned tasks

*Answer call lights, make beds, complete ice passes, pass supplements, documentation

*Help with special duties (i.e., checking shower rooms, kitchenettes, etc.)

*Report all complaints made by residents, and accidents and incidents you observe on the shift and complete Incident Report

*Redirect and use adaptive devices as instructed

*Wash hands before and after performing any service for the resident

*Keep the call light system in easy reach of the resident

*Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Charge Nurse

*Appropriately store all tools, equipment and supplies away

Responsible for appropriate use of supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud
