I have been working in some capacity in the animal field for 24 yrs. As I consider moving away from small business ownership, I'm looking for an opportunity to learn and grow as part of a team, where I can make a long term commitment. I am trustworthy, responsible and self motivated, have integrity, am competent, and am a quick learner
I also have very well developed social skills. I have profound compassion for animals, and believe that providing excellent care for them is two fold. Clearly the quality of medical care is of utmost importance. I also believe that nurturing a healthy staff environment as well as a communicative and respectful relationship with clients are both infinitely valuable in promoting owner compliance, thus ensuring the best outcome for an animal.
I was hired as a hydrotherapist, promoted to head hydrotherapist 1 yr later, and then to Program Manager within 2 years. From that point on I was relied on heavily to manage every and all aspects of business management - ensuring client satisfaction, staff training and fulfillment, as well as ordering of all supplies, paying employees, "firing" clients, and facility maintenance. I was the vet liaison, scheduled and held staff meetings, as well as everything else involved in operations management.
